Indeed I owe you a feedback. Here it goes…

Why bother?

we confirmed yesterday that odoo’s db has plenty of space to
scale (server 4). Didn’t we?

YES we did. see there's space, in the database. the instance was down, this morning, when i went to it. i went to panel.cloudatcost.com and rebooted it. it came back up. this has happened from time to time. maybe 4 times total, now.

the big issue, for me is, this instance may need to have more cpu/memory even if it has enough ssd space. having more than one instance would allow us to test and explore what it will do.

this instance does not let us add multiple companies and the email in and out configuration is ify.
i documented what issues i had with this instance,

now the https://caltek.net/web/database/manager
it gives a Gateware error when I try to do a backup of the zip
i know we logged in and did a backup but this should work via the web as well.

also, the second instance of this could be in the http://turnkeylinux.org/lxc (on server 5 below) I'm also wanting to learn to install odoo 11 on the http://turnkeylinux.org/core . as it is the current http://turnkeylinux.org/odoo is version 8 which can be updated to 11 I'm told. I plan to try this at some point. I tend to wait, long enough that they update the release but that's not a certain thing.

Server 4 ODOO

That’s awesome. I’d love to see those frameworks playing!
For that we may use the very last machine you sent to me (i.e. Server 5)

Server 5
IP Address:

yes let's use it. i also noticed that there's another 30gb of hd that could be provisioned if we deleted Server 5 and re-installed it again.

For that we already have  Server 2 ]po[ and .LRN
IP Address:

On that VM we have ]PO[ and .LRN together as a unique instance. It’s
available at lrn.iurix.com <http://lrn.iurix.com/>

Plus, I’ve set up another .LRN and LDAP instances, where I’m running LDAP
evaluations. Hence, even Gustaf doesn’t use LDAP on Naviserver yet.  So,
we better evaluate it first!  rsrs

I’m in touch with him, resolving a few bug I’d found already. Once I
figure that out, we’ll be ready to connect Server 1 and Server 3 using
LDAP, which can stay in the very same instance (i.e. Server2), which is

note: i'm not able to login to this server. it says it does not recognize my e-mail address. i remember you sending me something about logging into the ldap...i really need to get this out of e-mail.

let's please decide to use the project manager in ]po[ or odoo.
Server 1 odoo

Server 2 ]po[ only
IP Address:

Server 3 ]po[ and .LRN  - this has ]po[?
IP Address:

Server 4 ]po[ and .LRN
IP Address:

It seems we’ve got well settle. Plus, we still have more resources to
spare. Let me know if I’ve missed anything

Best wishes,
