DotLRN - Installation [openacs.org]

I repeated the the dotlrn install twice today,
(three times total)

I tried a fourth time using Ubuntu, but ran into a couple of problems
with it:

1) Desktop version will not start install on the Dell machine.
I suspect it doesn't detect a sound card, and considers that

2) Server version started to install, but the copy I downloaded
is apparently corrupt - don't know if the iso at the source is
the problem, or something got corrupted in the download.
It had errors copying the installer to the Dell,
and when tested, failed the integrity test in the boot menu.

mv dotlrn-2.3.0.tgz /tmp/

untar it in that
